Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962, is an American actor from the United States. Her film debut was in Bad Boys (1983). Following that she enrolled in the Bratpack and starred as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy received an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for more than 20 years. Her film debut came by appearing in the crime-drama film Bad Boys in the early 1980s, for which she received a lot of praise. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of popular actors Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In the wake of her success in her first film she later appeared in the comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes' film is widely regarded as one of the best high school movies ever made. Even though the budget of the film was just $1 million, the film's profits were more than $50 million. In the meantime, she was also appearing in various TV shows such as CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. From April 1980 it was an adolescent show. Also, she appeared on various television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister. Another one, X-Men Apocalypse a story featuring a female superhero in which she has a cameo. Sheedy is known for her amazing performances won many awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' Gold Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
